Forbes Pulls from Carol Spieckerman's Prediction on Sears Holdings
Sears' latest brand partnership for its Craftsman brand had Forbes and Retail Wire drawing from an article that Carol wrote in 2010. In it, she posited that Sears would define the new age of owned brand equity monetization. Sears may not win, but in the meantime, they are setting a new standard that others will follow as retailers' owned brand equity escalates.
